As part of our second-year curriculum, we were tasked with recreating a film scene to focus on camera work and lighting techniques. I chose the iconic drum solo from Whiplash and worked to replicate its intensity and visual style as faithfully as possible. While I'm proud of the final result, especially in capturing the mood and energy of the scene, I see room for improvement in the color grading.
